Professional experience:
Dr. Do Thanh Trung has nearly 20 years of experience in the legal sphere, with many positions, and contributions to the field of training, dispute resolution and consultancy for reputable enterprises, groups and law firms.
For the past years, Dr. Trung has been teaching at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law and assumed the role of consulting, legal training for Southern Power Corporation as well as other reputable universities and enterprises in the country. Currently, Dr. Trung is undertaking the position of Consultant for the Chairman of Board of Directors of Phuc Khang Consortium, Cosultant for Minh Giang Manufacturing & Trading Co., Ltd, and the Arbitrator of the FCCA Arbitration center.
Before becoming the founder of TPL Law Firm, Dr. Trung has previously undertaken positions as a Counsel for the Petro Capital And Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company under Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, Senior Consultant of TNJ Law Firm, and Founding and Managing Partner of Phu Viet Law Firm.
By undertaking the experiences and positions above, Dr. Trung has built a solid reputation thanks to professional qualifications and practical experience in consulting on dispute regarding commerce, business, labor, etc. He is also a legal expert with many articles in legal journals such as the Journal of Legal Science, Journal of People’s Court, the Journal of Procuracy, etc. In particular, he has in-depth knowledge in the field of case law.
